COURSES

The study of architecture at the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo is performed according to the Bologna principles as a full-time study of general direction. The study is harmonized with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

CLASSES ARE PERFORMED IN THREE CYCLES (3 + 2 + 3)

1st Cycle

A THREE-YEAR CYCLE OF STUDIES (180 ECTS CREDITS) LEADS TO THE TITLE OF ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER – BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE

2nd Cycle

TWO-YEAR CYCLE OF STUDIES (120 ECTS CREDITS) LEADS TO THE TITLE OF BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE – MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE

3rd Cycle

THREE-YEAR CYCLE OF STUDIES (180 ECTS CREDITS) LEADS TO THE TITLE – DOCTOR OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES, IN THE FIELD OF ARCHITECTURE AND URBANISM

The Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo fosters cooperation with many higher education institutions around the world through various programs, projects, as well as through bilateral cooperation.

INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE, URBANISM AND SPATIAL PLANNING

The activities of the Institute include studies and research tasks in the field of architecture, urbanism, spatial planning, historical heritage, environmental protection and physical properties of architectural objects, providing scientific opinions, expertise, audits and performing tasks of architectural and urban design, urban and spatial planning, as well as the realization of facilities through consulting.
