We are pleased to announce the publication of the December issue of Acta Architectonica et Urbanistica, marking the conclusion of a successful year.
Following the release of our first special issue in October, the December issue builds on this momentum with nine peer-reviewed articles authored by scholars affiliated with academic institutions in Italy, the United States, Norway, Austria, Montenegro, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The professional section features exclusive interviews with Academician and one of the most renowned architects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko Ugljen; lecturers from this year’s Days of Architecture festival, Momoyo Kaijima (Atelier Bow-Wow) and Simone Gobbo (Demogo); and Reinier de Graaf (OMA/AMO). The issue also includes a special review entitled Unwanted Heritage, marking a farewell to Hotel Pelegrin in Kupari.
The issue concludes with A Year 2025 in Review, highlighting key architectural events across regional centers.
We thank all contributors, authors, reviewers, friends, partners, and advisors for making this year such a success, and we look forward to preparing the forthcoming June 2026 issue.
We wish everyone a happy New Year.
